penang bridge international marathon 2009, my first half-marathon! well, we actually had to participate in this category as the quarter is only for student. tried to get some sleep before the run but just couldn't. excited i guess..
the marathon started on the very early morning of 22-nov at 3am. the full category started an hour before. the flag-off point was at queensbay mall and i can say that it was quiet well organized. kali ni tak lambat dan kitorang siap dapat tempat depan lagi.
dari queensbay, berlari masuk jambatan. for half marathon, we only run about two-third of the bridge. walaupun tengah-tengah jambatan tu tinggi, tak terasa sangat mendaki. dari jambatan, patah balik masuk pulau. and then it hit me. makin dekat garisan penamat, makin sakit lutut aku. was practically limping when i crossed the finishing line. tapi puas hati berjaya tamatkan larian dalam masa 2jam 15min. congrats to all kakilariks and especially to kz, we are so proud with you!
