a walk in the park

yesterday noon, zaidi sms-ed asking if i would like to go to sentul park koi center. said yes since i need to come to kl anyway. parked my car at bangsar and took the lrt to jelatek. from there, zaidi drove to jalan ipoh where this koi center is located inside the beautiful serene sentul park. the kl performing art center (klpac) is also situated here.

the place also runs as a breeding and a research center for koi. there is one big main pond in the middle of the japanese garden with hundred of kois. besar-besar koi kat dalam kolam ni. inside the facility, there are few more ponds. i noticed that each pond has special water filter for this expensive fish. aku terdengar yang ada seekor tu harganya rm20000! mesti ada yang lagi mahal. yelah, makanannya pun dah dekat rm350. maunya setengah juta nilai satu kolam yang penuh dengan koi ni. didn’t know that there is also white koi. cuma, aku masih tak dapat lagi jawapan samada koi ni boleh dimakan ke tidak...

facing this koi center is the klpac. salah-satu pusat pementasan teater utama di kl. sebahagian bangunan ini asalnya gudang stesen keretapi lama. with touch of modern architecture of glass and steel, the outcome is just magnificent.

green is everywhere here. the park has a really nice and spotless landscape. calm and peaceful. paling aku suka, pondok rehat kecil atas air tepi tasik tu. scattering here and there are sofas made of stone and mesh-wire.
